Door Construction

Solidor front doors are manufactured with a solid timber core that is encased in plastic edge banding and two thermo plastic door skins; the timber core ensures insulating properties, whilst the finishing of the plastic exterior means it will never need painting or varnishing.

The doors are nearly 10% thicker than many alternatives at a thickness of 48mm, creating thermal efficiency and offering a sturdier, more durable door than competitors.

Security & Locking Systems

Every Solidor front door is equipped with an Ultion lock as standard, a system that comes with a guarantee that illustrates the trust held within the product: £1000 from Ultion themselves if an intruder breaks into your property due to a snapped Ultion locking system.

Lock Options

Various locking systems are available for security measures dependant on door type, with various lock positioning available, also depending on the locking system and door design. Locking systems include the Automatic AV2 Mech Lock, Automatic AV3 Mech Lock and the Avantis Deadbolt Lock for lever-handle doors.

Ethically Sourced

The timber used to manufacture Solidor doors is sourced from forests that are socially and ecologically managed, whilst the core itself can save energy for your home. Plus, Solidor promise to recycle all of their packaging, and the doors can even be recycled at the end of life, avoiding landfill.
