Samson Guard Range
New from Samson Doors is the Guard range, consisting of the Samson GarageGuard and the Samson HomeGuard.
As the name suggests, the doors have very different applications. The GarageGuard is designed as an external door to protect your garage from intruders and prevent heat loss, whilst the HomeGuard is an internal door for applications such as between your garage and home, or a covered outdoor area.
Whilst the GarageGuard is designed to provide the absolute top level security in its price point, the Home Guard combines security with fire protection.
Samson GarageGuard
The GarageGuard, a strong, secure and reliable steel door set. A double skinned 55mm thick steel doorset designed to last.
The GarageGuard is an external steel doorset designed specifically for the protection of garages and outbuildings with a standard security far higher than any other steel pedestrian door available in the UK.
All Samson GarageGuard doors are factory assembled and are ready to fit straight away, making everything as easy as possible.
Technical Features
A new product to The Garage Door Centre for 2018, the GarageGuard is a state of the art door that helps to protect you and your belongings from intruders. With a certified locking system and strong and solid panels, this door is designed to be reliable and durable, providing a first line of defense. It's 55mm thickness is also thicker than many other doors on the market, and can contain two different infills.
The GarageGuard comes with corrosion resistant Magnelis steel, making it perfect for coastal properties as well as those inland, and also comesd with a 10 year guarantee.
The steel subframe is also made of Magnelis steel 1.6mm thick, with a fully adjustable outer frame section to accommodate uneven openings of up to 30mm each way. The frame itself is then fitted via four dog bolt hinges to provide a secure connection.
The door comes with an optional infill with a U value of between 1.6-3.1 w/m2k. The U value calculates the effectiveness of a material as an insulator, and the average cavity wall has a U value of 1.6 w/m2k.
Visual Features
The GarageGuard comes in up to 50 different colours as standard, plus a number of woodgrain effect options, meaning it can fit in with any properties aesthetic.
The door itself has as standard a profiled outer panel design, with a traditional vertical groove design. There is also the option for a horizontal design with spacing options. Windows are also available in many shapes and sizes, giving plenty of unique combinations to help you stand out and make a statement, with double glazing also available as an option.
The door also comes with stainless steel lever handles as standard with double euro cylinder locking.

The Samson HomeGuard
The HomeGuard is a new internal door with a number of applications. The most common of which will be to act as a protective and insulated barrier between the garage and home. It can also be used with covered external areas too, or as a fire door between internal areas, providing one hour of protection.
As standard it comes in made to measure sizes, up to 1290mm x 2000mm, with double sizes available, ensuring the perfect fit every single time.

The HomeGuard is a fantastic new internal door with excellent fire protection, and security to match. It is made of 55mm thick steel and has a factory fitted 4 sided steel frame. It has Hooply multipoint sashlock,with Securefast TS007 1 star 80mm euro key and thumbturn for it's main locking method, providing excellent security. There is also a multipoint deadlock set for secondary locking towards the top of the door.
