Cedar Derwent Garage Door Timber Cedar Timber Sectional Doors

The Derwent door with a area of glazing in the top section of the door is a more traditional design of door and will compliment the more traditional built house, with a outer solid frame housing vertically tongue and grooved boards in the lower section of the door which are glue bonded to the rear solid cross rails of the door, all doors are supplied basecoat treated as standard. This innovative creation will fool the best of us from a very short distance into believing it is actually a pair of side hinged garage doors. Cedar Doors are all hand crafted using the finest grade of kiln dried Western red cedar wood and manufactured to traditional standards with all joints being mortise and tenon throughout. The Cedar Door Derwent timber sectional door has a perimeter solid cedar frame housing the glazed area in the top section; the lower three sections are vertical tongue and grooved boards that form a panel that is then glue bonded to the rear solid cross rails of the door.

There is just a 70mm side and headroom requirement where the springs are rear mounted and the same side room of 70mm and headroom of 200mm for the front mounted.

The door has incorporated anti finger trap protection.

To complement your new door we would advise that you go for the option to have your door factory fully finished with our Sikkens 955 power-feed finishing system with a choice of 9 standard colours, which will give the door a hard satin long lasting finish that could last up to 7-10 years before recoating
