Pedestrian Doors

A side door is often overlooked; we sell thousands of garage doors every year with the majority of doors having security at the top of the list of priorities. So why do we not talk about the other access point in the garage, the pedestrian (or side) door. Many pedestrian doors to older garages are simply an 'off the shelf' plywood and glass affair with little or no resistance to a good kick or a semi-skilled thief. The other thing often missed is the level of weather sealing that can be achieved by a modern factory framed steel or aluminium side door, also offering higher than average insulation values to help keep that outside garage or room warmer.
