Hormann Debut New Garage Door Finishes4th April 2013
Hörmann has chosen the Homebuilding and Renovating show in the UK to introduce their new Silkgrain & Duragrain door finishes.
New Silkgrain
The new Silkgrain surface finish from Hörmann will be available for Medium or Large ribbed sectional garage doors and side sliding sectional doors.
Ultra-scratch resistant, Silkgrain offers a smooth highly, detailed surface finish. Alongside the Traffic White option, a new elegant, dark anthracite “Titan” colour tone will be available at the entry level price.
15 equally-priced, preferred colour options will meet many customer's requirements while the “RAL to choose” option means you can meet almost any colour choice required.
Printed Duragrain - a new level of finish
The innovative, printed Duragrain finish from Hörmann, offers 24 new décor options for LPU 40 sectional doors with Medium or Large ribbing.
The new printed finish uses a protective exterior paint to provide an ultra scratch-resistant surface finish.
A new digital printing, production line has been installed at Hörmann's Ichtershausen plant that manufactures sectional garage doors. The 70 metre long production line includes priming and end processing technology as well as printing film laminated door sections.
The new process offers both a wider range of wood effect appearances as well as new options such a “Concrete” and “Rusty Steel.” These new finishes further add to the extensive design choices already available from Hörmann.
