New 3-Part Threshold for Carteck Side Hinged
If you’re been looking into side hinged garage doors as your door of choice, its highly likely you’ve come across our insulated Carteck range!
And although we’re already shouting about how fantastic they are (they're steel, available in a huge range of designs and insulating!), there's always testing taking place to discover new ways in which these great doors can be further improved. This time, we’ve got a three-part threshold that is now equipped with every door, as standard!
In short, this achieves a sleeker finish along with improved weather sealing. Read on for further details on the big difference this small change makes!
What Does That Mean?
The edge of the frame leg is extended, creating a neater finish overall, and we can also get this extended where required. The three parts simply interlock and are held by fixing through the centre section, a simple solution for level threshold surfaces. If the threshold surface is not in such good condition, we may need to fix through the front or rear section to achieve that flush finish against the surface of the threshold.
IMPROVED Weather Protection!
One of the main things you’ll be wanting your garage door to do of course, is to separate the outside from the inside! Well, this threshold includes a bulb seal to help further improve the weather sealing at the bottom of the door.
