Hormann Steel Insulated Pedestrian Doors now Available
The newly developed Hormann double skinned multi purpose steel side doors for use around the home are now available to order. The MZ Thermo and KSI Thermo pedestrian side doors are ideal for use as back doors, side entrance doors, or for outbuildings and external garage access, these two Hörmann products offer some of the highest levels of insulation and security available on the UK market. Forget timber or Upvc options, these will provide proper security and insulation, and peace of mind. The new MZ Thermo incorporates double seals and a 46mm-thick door leaf with PU rigid foam sandwich infill, providing up to 30 per cent better heat retention than a standard multi-purpose steel door.
This superb door can also be fitted with anti-panic locks for fire escape use where required and there are an attractive range of handle options to choose from. The Hormann KSI Thermo not only offers high levels of heat retention, but also provides improved break-in resistance so is sold mainly where security is the leading requirement. With this door, RC2 level security is included as standard, complying with the latest EN standards. Furthermore, it incorporates anti-leverage bolts, multi-point locking and security hinges for added peace of mind. The KSI Thermo is a solid panelled steel door designed to be particularly secure in addition to its insulating properties. Security is provided by conical swing bolts, security bolts and a lock bolt in the frames lock plate, plus security bolts and guide rollers on the hinged side, making it practically impossible to force the door open.
When it comes to colour choice, both are offered in 12 standard colours plus the almost unlimited RAL to choose option. Additionally there are six wood effect decor surfaces. White Ash, Light Oak and Beech are suitable for interior use only, whereas Golden Oak, Dark Oak and Titan Metallic CH703 are suitable for both internal and external applications.
The Hormann insulated RollMatic and HST side-sliding sectional garage doors will also be available with matching pedestrian side doors now in a wide choice of sizes and colours. An array of surface finishes and decorative features are available, including a new natural-coloured knotted timber design, Winchester Oak. This colour replaces the long term and popular light oak design.
