Christmas deadline very close for some doors!
Yes, believe or not at the beginning of October we now have some doors which will only just be manufactured by the end of this year!We have always had a big rush on orders in October and November ever since we began 27 years ago and each year people may well leave it later and later depending how the weather has been during the summer and some other factors affecting new builds.
The garage door and front entrance door may well be one of the last items installed on a new build and like many things in life now we are more used to a click, click, fast delivery internet world for so many products.
Not so with most garage doors unfortunately and as we sit here now on the 3rd October we have some aluminium entrance doors, special sectional doors and certain timber garage doors that are on a 10 - 12 week delivery and unfortunately this year has proved difficult for most garage door manufacturers to also keep pace with the surge in demand for more standard doors and we have seen some fairly serious delays in these delivery times too.
It is just over 11 weeks until Christmas!!
If you want and have to have your new garage door or Hormann/Garador entrance door before Christmas you really ought to order in the next week or so!!
