Q:What is the warranty period?
This depends very much on the manufacturer but it is usually 5 years minimum on the hardware and 2 - 5 years on electronic components. Many European manufacturers offer 10 years on their garage doors. Beware of very fluffy guarantee statements from low priced doors, they are not worth anything we have found from people contacting us when there is a problem and they cannot get anywhere with the original supplier and remember your guarantee is with the retailer not the manufacturer if the retailer dissapears
We offer a no quibble 12 month guarantee on all our installations for any garage door or electric operator.
Many manufacturers will offer a warranty on their products with a limit on the time for funding the labour to replace a part. The warranty may cover the part or item for 5 years for example but after maybe 2 years only the part itself is replaced under warranty and you may have to pay for the labour element. Every product is different so if you are unsure please check.
We do pride ourselves on supplying and installing only the very highest quality products available in the UK so are warranty calls are minimal but things do break that is for sure but generally we do not have great issues with any products. If we do have an issue we remove the product from sale until we are fully assured and confident the issue has been resolved by the manufacturer.
