Q:How long will I have to wait for delivery after I have placed my order?
This all depends on the type of garage door you have ordered. If it is a standard door specification in a stock size and we are installing, then you would generally have to wait 2-3 weeks maximum.
Most garage doors we sell are bespoke either in size or specification, but in fact this often means only about a 4-5 week delivery time
very bespoke garage doors could take anything up to 10 -14 weeks or longer, especially if manufactured in Germany.
If we are supplying from stock for supply and delivery only, it could be as little as 48 hours. The delivery times from manufacturers will change during the year with the worst time being in the Autumn as door sales increase dramatically after the summer as new builds require the doors to finish projects. Delivery times can have 2 weeks added very quickly once pressure of volumes begin and this means as we approach Christmas you can find the delivery will be after Christmas on some doors from ordering as early as October, so beware in the run up to Christmas.
Bespoke timber doors can also have irratic delivery times with supplies of specialist timber from certain sources often running low and extending delivery times. If it is important to get a door on time you are best to always order well in advance and let us know the date you require so we can plan ahead and not dissapoint!!
