Insulated Roller Doors
Insulated Roller Doors
We know there is huge demand for electric roller garage doors in the UK, more than pretty much any other country. They do suit the challenges of a lot of garages and how they are built in the UK. However the obsession with remote control is simply many years of all manufacturers copying each other and driving the prices down all the time.
Stop for a while when looking at a new garage door and simply imagine how you are going to enter and exit your garage and for 2/3rds of people we know that they won’t use their garage for a car, so why do you need remote control at all? Save your money on the controls and invest in a better but simpler door.
Made to measure in single and double width sizes and all fully finished in a range of colours with a choice of either 55mm or 77mm double walled aluminium insulated slats. Optimise your garage internals and have a door which opens vertically for maximum space saving around the garage opening, inside and out.

EASE OF USE
This is the key to this electric roller door - simplicity. If you have a side door and enter your garage from your house then simply push and hold the up or down button on the wall switch and that is it…
If you regularly enter from outside then install one of the wall mounted key switches and then either turn and hold to the left or right depending which direction you want the door to move in.
Our View from 38 years of experience….
The insulated aluminium electric roller door has certainly taken the UK by storm relative to other types of door and mainly because you can fit one into almost any shape of opening with minimal concern over any obstacles behind or in front of the garage opening.
A roller door is just like a roller blind in that it simply goes up and down in one vertical plane, not concerned over what is in front of the door as it doesn’t swing out or into the garage. Over the last few years or so there has been a race to advertise the lowest possible prices for electric roller doors, the quality and reliability for many has become a secondary goal to the low prices.
Another fact has been that all manufactures have blindly believed that any electric garage door requires 2 remote control handsets to operate and that is the customer sorted. They have all developed their standard electric roller doors around this belief. We know if we question customers nowadays that so many never intend to ever put a vehicle into their garage, so why would you ever really need any remote handsets? It makes no sense as you will be walking to the garage either from outside or inside if the garage is integral. The wall mounted button control or external key switch makes perfect sense, whilst using a ‘hold to run’ operation logic also means you do not need any safety sensor devices, so you save money all round and get a simpler door! Think more about how you would be best controlling your garage door because with over 65% of garages not used for storing vehicles remote controls don’t seem the best option in many cases. This door is not only great value for money it is also manufactured to a very high standard with a pedigree and high quality colour finishes for the insulated curtain.
